BBB and its partners will host national identity theft prevention and education events in local communities coast-to-coast on Saturday, April 21, 2012. Bring standard- size paper documents containing personal identifiers and we’ll shred it for you -- on the spot. 


NEXT SHREDDING EVENT
  • Saturday, April 21, 2012
    • Time: 9 am - 1 pm
    • Springfield: Great Southern Bank Operations Center - 218 S. Glenstone
  • Acceptable Materials:  Standard-size, paper-based materials
  • Acceptable Quantity:  Bring as much as you can carry, but not more than 5 boxes/bags.

PAST EVENTS

  • Saturday April 16, 2011
    • We blasted previous records out of the water with nearly 500 cars!
  • Saturday October 23, 2010
    • We hosted two sites for this event which yielded nearly 200 cars! We shredded 14,000 pounds of materials between the three trucks at the two event sites.
  • Saturday April 17, 2010
    • During this event we reached our goal to fill the truck! We had 168 cars and shredded 14,000 pounds of materials!
  • Saturday April 18, 2009
    • This event has concluded and was a huge success! With the help of Cintas Document Management we shredded 5,500 pounds of materials! Thats nearly three tons of sensative material which has been shredded and recycled.

    • This event has concluded and was a huge success! With the help of Cintas Document Management we shredded 4,000 pounds of materials! Thats two tons of sensative material which has been shredded and recycled.
